First Fashion Memory
There's a framed picture of me aged 15 months, lounging in a jumpsuit and enamel beads on my aunt's shag pile carpet - knee tilted, arm draped, broody stare. I knew how to work my angles - even then!
Favourite Designer Label
I heart the Belgians and the Japanese so Bruno Pieters, Veronique Branquinho, Comme de Garcons and Ann Demeulemeester make my list. Can't forget the Westwood though.
Best Bargain Buy
A Moroccan gown I got in Portobello market for £15. It's handstitched with gold thread and was originally bought in Paris in the 60s. It wouldn't look out of place with a gold lamé bikini and turban my a pool side with a Dirty Martini. I like mine with a silk cami, skinny jeans and super high heels.
Most Expensive Item in your Wardrobe
I'm a bona fide bargain hunter. My most expensive item is a €910 Veronique Branquinho blazer I got for €260 in Smock boutique. The most I ever paid for one item was €360 for a Vivienne Westwood bowling bag marked down from €720 - also Smock.
Top of your Wish List
Alexander Mc Queen feathers to crocodile embossed trousers by Roskanda Ilincic.
Most Stylist Moment
When Manolo Blahnik complemented my €20 patent Penneys shoe boots.
Style Icon
I'm quite polytheistic with me 'aul fashion gods. Gwen Stefani for originality, Erin O'Connor for poise and Katherine Hepburn for making masculine tailoring look F-I-E-R-C-E!!
Favourite High Street Store
Like most people, it has to be Topshop. Regardless of Sir Philip Greene's inability to fathom the current sterling exchange rate (ahem!), his clothes rock. Skinny jeans, sequin blazers, bitchin' heels and R.S.I. inducing cocktail rings are but a few of my TS crushes.
Fashion or Style
I'd love to be one of these capsule wardrobe experts but it just ain't my shtick. If there's a sparkly harem pant in the offing it'll be on my arse, even if it winds up in the charity shop bag the following month. I keep saying my job requires it. Wonder how long that excuse will wear?
Finally, what did you have for Breakfast this morning!?
Gluten-free brown bread and lemon & ginger tea....followed by two coffees and a Curly Wurly at 11. Didn't last, did it?
